New display features Brethren High School's award- winning Servie Learning class working in Kaleva 1996-2000, the Makinen Tackle Collection, many other displays updated. Christmas Celebration - Kaleva Bottle House

Winter Solstice

Annual Lighting of the Cemetery on the Winter Solstice, December 21, in Kaleva. Starting at 4:00 pm on the longest night, hundreds of luminaries are placed on graves in the Kaleva cemetery to honor loved ones. Meet at 14701 Metsola Ave. to help with the luminaries. There is a short program at the cemetery at 5:15 and a soup supper following at Kaleva’s Bethany Lutheran Church. All are welcome.
