ACA Board Meeting
The next meeting of the ACA Board of Directors will be Wednesday, August 25, at 4:00 pm at the Kaleva Art Gallery. We will be discussing the application process for becoming a 501(c)3 organization. Glenn Lottie is our advisor. Plans for the Green Art Fair at Douglas Valley will also be on the agenda, as well as a first ACA newsletter. All are welcome.
Green Art Fair
The ACA will partner with Douglas Valley in a Green Art Fair on September 18. All works must be made of re-cycled or throw-away materials. The show will run from 10 am - 4 pm Saturday at Douglas Valley. There is a $15 entry fee for artists, prizes will be awarded. There will also be a silent auction with proceeds going to ACA scholarship fund. Art & craft sales/booth space will be available for $5. An artists' reception will be hosted by the Arts and Culture Alliance on Friday from 7-9 pm. More info to follow.
